I have had type 2 diabetes since july of 08, I was 23 yrs old when i found out and it scared me so much. My grandparents from both sides and my dad have it, so i knew that i had a possiblity of getting it. I just recently had my first baby i was on oral meds when i found out i was preganat and got switched to insulin, i didnt like having to do the needle but i knew my baby needed me to keep my sugar steady. I had her on Feb 10th and just recently did all my check ups that i need. Everything is good my A1C was 5.8, im so proud of myself i know that i can keep my numbers steady.
