Here was my morning...
I usually wake up on my own around 5-ish, lounge around enjoying having the house to myself, take a walk, eat breakfast and then off to work. Well...
This morning I woke around five, gave a contented sigh...
...and then remembered that I was supposed to take a couple of students to the local TV studio to be interviewed. So after the obligatory expletive, I ran downstairs putting on my clothes. My wife chased after me with a dixie cup full of mouth-wash which I swished around while I am running out the door. Long story, short - I got the two ladies to the studio in time to be interviewed. After I got back home, I went upstairs, showered and toddled off to work.
After an hour, it hit me. Breakfast... ooops, I forgot. Now my doctor told me that it was important to have three regular, light meals (60 - 80 carbs) and two light snacks (25 - 30 carbs) during the day. Supposedly this helps keep the cravings at bay.
Missing a meal is not the end of the world; not a great habit to get into, but not the be all and end all. I have found that by sticking to a plan (once you get used to it), really can make all of the difference. It does takes some time getting used to, I will admit to that but it is really worth the effort. It is the same with excercise. The first few weeks I basically had to force myself to do it, but now I do it without thinking.

I hear you on the forgetfulness, but I'm glad it all worked out in the end! :)
