It is great when things work,   I had an issue last year and started a med and within 6 months the heart rate was normal and I am off the meds.

I'm sure I'm sharing the sentiments of others when I say, I couldn't be happier for you. May He continue to touch your health!

A year or two ago I had developed a common cardiac problem.  I don't know if it was caused by the fact that I am a diabetic or not.  But I have read that diabetes or a diabetic med can cause rapid heart beat.  I don't remember which it is.  But I have atrial fibrillation that is under treatment.

I saw my cardiologist today and it was wonderful.  My medication is working well.  My blood pressure is very good, my pulse is very good and my heart is beating regularly now.  When the doctor was through with me he said "Go home now.  I will see you in six months".  I practically wanted to dance out of that office.

Maybe diabetes has been a blessing in a strange way.  It brought my health and mortality into sharp focus and I do try my best to help myself the best that I can and I try to be diligent when ever I am strong enough.

The other day I had a good report from my CAT scan about my kidneys and now I have this pleasant visit with the cardiologists.  Can't get better than this.  Oh maybe it could.  Maybe my shrink will give me a good report next month. :-)
