Never could stomach the taste and texture of Dreamfields. I found Fiber Gourmet in my local Hy-Vee grocery store, and found it does great with my numbers, and my family all likes it. The price is not as cheap as regular pasta...but, with the fiber content, I have great numbers.Others in my local support group report having good experience with them...and, having all members of the family liking the taste.

I have tried a couple of the crackers. The cheese ones are pretty good.

I have NOT tried the cake mixes, so I do not know how they do with my numbers, or how they taste. My store does not carry them, and I have not had the drive to buy on-line.

I use a pasta called "al dente all natural carba-nada". Have to get it at local organic food. But I don't go up, and it put dreamfields to shame.

Even being I talian I rarely eat pasta,    Dreamfields  for some it works and others it does not.    That is why we have meters and  for me  its no better than regular pasta.    Also whole grain or wheat it makes no difference to that great idea is out the window.

I finally quit buying that product, because it never seemed to do what it advertised itself to do. In fact, now that I'm using regular pasta, again, I have not noticed any difference in the test numbers following meals.

This switch has done two things. It has kept my numbers in the same range Dreamfields gave, and I'm now pocketing a few bucks in savings each time I buy pasta.

I also now wait to take my bolus until I finish eating. Taking the bolus prior to eating pasta, caused me to have lo-lows, and now I no longer have that problem.

What say ye???

Bon appetite!
