Medication Tradjenta

I am on Tradjenta for approximately four months.  Just recently I was switched to Bydureon injections once a week.  The Tradjenta did not bring my numbers down.  the Bydureon brought my numbers down immediately, approximately 20 points.  I did not have any side effects with Tradjenta.  My concern with the injections is the increased possiblity of thyroid cancer.  Hope this is helpful.

I'm not sure if I'm pssting in the correct forum as I am new to this site.  I was prescribed Tradjenta to start taking.  I took my first one tonight.  Can anyone tell me their experience with this medication.  I was on Victoza injections but was changed to Tradjenta by mouth once a day at night.  Just looking to see if anyone had any thoughts on this medication.  Thanks in advance.  Any information would help as I am always nervous starting a new medication.  You would think after twenty years I would be used to it.  Undecided
