Glipizide is a sulfa med which forces the pancreas to shove out more insulin.     If you ever start to go low look  at it as the cluprit.    It  can  turn on the release and does not know when to shut it off.     My brother can drop to the 50s on it   me it does nothing.

Thank you Furball.  I always feel better after hearing from you.  It was glipizide something or another.  It is time released.  I am pretty sure I was off of it too long.  Getting back in my system but I have had the strangest issue.  I have continual thirst like if my numbers are very high and they aren't.  They are around 153.  I can't get enough fluid.  I hope this too shall pass.  I have drank water all the time.

Sally  what  med was it,  some  meds like metformin  take a long time to get in and out of the body.     I made a mistake  and yet not the other day,    we will be fine.

I have about 15 prescription bottles kept in a small storage bin with all my supplements.  I mail order most of my meds and get refills before I ran out.  But I didn't realize that one of my diabetes pills wasn't there when I got a refill and I have no idea how long I went without them.  Did think that my readings were a little high.  I have to be more careful.  I never made this mistake before.
