What's up dLife? It's been a while. I've travelled the world, had some fantastic experiences, and for the most part, kept my blood sugar under control. I'm no longer the diabetic beginner, and I've finally learned not to sweat the small stuff. \(^o^)/
After 11 months of fieldwork in Japan, I'm writing my last college papers, crossing all the "T"s and dotting all the "I"s so that I can move on with this crazy adult life. Diabetes hasn't stopped me from doing exactly what I wanted. If anything, it has just made me more aware, more responsible, and healthier.
My weight might go up and down, my A1C may be higher than I want, but I'll keep going. I have the best family and friends anyone could ever ask for, and the will to make the best out of any situation. Sometimes it's stressful, and sometimes it seems too hard, but it's those moments that make us stronger. I love my life.
