Hello Sandra, I looked around and it seems the only way to opt out of membership is by editing your account and removing the information.
I hope you will reconsider and make the experience a positive life lesson instead of a negative one. There is a lot of information on the site. It would be a shame if one bad experience made you go away without the answers you need.
I sent a message about your problem and it may take th team a day or two to get to you.
I'm sorry about what had happened, I find the community here very helpful and kind. I can understand there would be some bad apples and I am sorry you got one.
I would hope that you block the member and flag the messages you ge from the men and problem e-mails/messages for the admisinstrators to take care of. Your important to us.
I will be sending you a e-mail hopefully we can corect this for you.
I hope you won't let a strange woman intimidate you. You still deserve to be on dLife to learn all that is offered to you
and healthy friendships.
I feel sorry for a woman that can't allow her husband to talk to other women. Maybe the lack of faith is justified or perhaps not. Who am I to say?
But the real issue is the fact that you feel unsafe on dLife., It doesn't have to be that way at all. Flag any undesireable emails that you get and let the administrators handle it for you. I sure
have had a few strange ones, but nothing like you have experienced.
Well, I am rambling on and what I really wanted to say what stick around Sandra. You might miss something.
My name is Kerri and I'm the dLife community leader. I've also had type 1 diabetes for 23 years. I work for dLife and I wanted to make sure you're okay. Can you email me at sparling (at) dLife (dot) com and please let me know how you are? I'm here to help, and want to make sure you're feeling safe, comfortable, and supported here in the dLife community.
