LynnDiabetes Connection: I am dLife's Food & Nutrition Editor, my mother has type 2 diabetes, and I have a very dear friend who has type 1.

Your Strategy for Losing: Kick the white stuff.... I have been slipping in recent months and eating more white flour and sugar. I do great if I treat those foods as rare indulgences.
What's Motivating You? Summer approaching (vanity still prevails!) and also knowing that those inflated fat cells around my middle are the ones that are most dangerous to my health. And I'd really like to be around to know my grandchildren!
