Hello all, my name is Rick. I am thinking about going to the pump and really undecided about the type I want. My endo. suggested the omnipod and I tried the demo for 3 days. I liked the part of being wireless but felt is was a little big and noticable when wearing it. I felt like I had a big bulge on my side and it showed, when tucking my shirt in. I have also looked at the one touch ping but have always been against the tubes but I like the fact that you can control from the pump or the meter especially if you leave the meter at home at least you have a backup. At work it is hard enough to actually take a lunch and sit down for 30 min. let alone trying to take a shot. The last year my a1c has been getting out of control no matter how hard I have been trying and I know the pump will help in the long run, I just need to bite the bullet and do it. Thanks for reading and any suggestions and input will be very much appreciated. Thanks-Rick.
