About Me:
Hey guys! My name's Sheila Soledad. I'm currently a college student at the University of Hawaii at Hilo and am a type one diabetic. I'm a gym junkie but at the same time, I absolutely love to bake yummy morsels!
Personal Goals:
My college goal is to graduate with my BSN in nursing. For there my career goal is to be come a diabetic educator so that I can help motivate others who have this disease and overall to save the lives. Everyone who isn't a diabetic says "this disease is manageable", and yes they are most certainly right. But at the same time WE know for a fact that it damm sure is a difficult journey. I've despised this disease for 19 years of my life and will continue to until they find a legit cure. But instead of wallowing in self pity-"woe is me" and not giving a damm I'm putting up a fight. This disease will NOT get the best of me, and it is my goal to be the support, motivation and fire that other diabetics need to beat this disease.

I know what you mean about eating late! As a college I do it all the time as much as I try to avoid it. I'll be like eating pasta or something at 11 & yes like you said eating way over the amount of carbs. Trying to make it a habit though to be more aware of my time and eating. Thank you for sharing!
Thanks LC! Yesterday was super hectic with all the baking and preparation I didn't find a spare time to go to the gym :( but super bowl was a success! Absolutely no high blood sugars! Whoooo! Hope your super bowl Sunday was a success as well :)
LOL, good for you! I'm not a Superbowl fan. :) Maybe you were active enough, just not formal exercise and that did the trick for you. Glad it all worked out.
