Favorite TV Shows I like watching tv so just about any show will do. I look at a lot of tv shows with my boyfriend. We both absolutely love sports.

Favorite Books: Velvet Rope, E Lynn Harris books, and Omar Tyree books (just to name a few). If it captures my attention within the first few pgs I got a winner.

My Diabetes Story

I was diagnosed at the age of 8. Obviously I grew up hating this disease, and tried to go through college without paying it any attention because I wanted to be normal like my friends and family. Finally I woke up one day and decided to try and take care of myself and deal with being a diabetic. I am now on my 3rd insulin pump. It still is a test, but dealing with it much better now. All and all I am just trying to keep my head up and my life moving forward:)
