Baby Nephew Update
|
I am smiling that he is doing so well. It also reminds me of my twin grandsons. They were 2 1/2 months early. I remember when they were about 2 1/2 lbs. It was strange passing the regular nursery to see them because the full term babies looked so huge. |

hello Shauntaye, excellent news. I am glad they are moving closer, that is a double blessing. Having your family closer means so much in our daily quality of life. Wishing you and yours all the best. |

Shauntaye, congratulations on such a tiny bundle of joy. I so remember when my first daughter was born. She was a bit larger (4lb 7oz). I brought her home at 4.2lbs and 17" long. The were no clothes to fit her or diapers. It was before the fancy premie line of baby clothes. We had to make it up as we went. We took those blue pads they use at the hospital and cut them in quarters and made our own diapers. We ended up going out and buying 19" doll clothes, then 21" doll clothes, just to have clothing to put on her. It was months before she was actually in "new born" sizes. She was small until around kindergraten, then she took off just like all the other kids. She achieved all the normal things that babies achieve: rolled over when she was suppose to; she walked at nine months, talked at the appropriate time. She was just pint-sized. We saved all her infant clothes, so she would have them to show her children. Today, she's a healthy woman with children of her own. No health problems at all throughout her life. Take lots of pictures and make sure you write on the back the actual age and size. You'll be so surprized and in awe later, much later, how small your nephew really was. Good luck and I'll keep him and you in my prayers. Sharon
